31 July: Interruption: Introduction to the Psalms as Personal Prayer by Sister Johanna Caton, OSB.

Sister Johanna of Minster Abbey has kindly gathered together for us this week’s reflections on praying with the Psalms. It is clear that her experience of praying the psalms ‘every day and many times a day’ has not made them stale on her lips or in her heart. I hope you enjoy these reflections as much as I have done!

Note how in this window from Chichester Cathedral King David is praying with all sorts of men and women, including a youngster with a triangle – all of us can take a part in praising God! And we are united in prayer with the angels and saints in heaven.

Over to Sister Johanna!
